Cairo:Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, representing the Kingdom of Bahrain, took part in the 56th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers in Cairo. The meeting was held at the League of Arab States General Secretariat.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the session focused on enhancing joint Arab media initiatives, adapting to digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and bolstering media's role in promoting Arab issues and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The assembly also highlighted the 10th Arab Media Excellence Award outcomes. Isa Ali Al Shayji, head of the Bahrain Journalists Association, was recognized as Media Personality of the Year. Additionally, Al Ayam newspaper received the Best Photograph Award in the Digital Media category, with Abdulhameed Jaafar as the recipient.
These accolades underscore Bahrain's advancements in media and content creation, showcasing its dedication to Arab media development and collaboration.
