Ambassador Attends Gulf Air’s Relaunch of Direct Flights to New York

New york: Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, was present at a reception held at John F. Kennedy International Airport to commemorate the relaunch of Gulf Air's direct flights to New York.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid highlighted that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain remains committed to enhancing its international partnerships. This commitment is demonstrated through a policy of openness and the expansion of global air connectivity.

He stated that the relaunch signifies more than just the reopening of a route; it acts as a bridge across the Atlantic, connecting peoples, economies, and cultures. This initiative builds on a historical legacy between Bahrain and the United States, which has spanned over a century.

The Ambassador further explained that the flights will create opportunities to expand cooperation and strengthen community ties. They will offer American companies improved access to Gulf markets and allow Bahraini and regional businesses to take advantage of US innovations and investments. Additionally, the service will facilitate travel for students and families.
