Alba Hosts 3rd Edition of Sports Festival in Collaboration with ISAF

Manama: Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), in partnership with the International Sports Academies Federation (ISAF), hosted the 3rd edition of the Alba Sports Festival. Bringing together around 1,500 amateur athletes from 21 nationalities and 43 sports academies, the festival featured 18 sports competitions, including swimming, tennis, padel, football, darts, snooker, bowling, and walkathon, along with new events such as athletics, arm wrestling, strongest man, and fencing.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali Al Baqali, CEO of Alba, and MP Ahmed Al Salloom, ISAF Chairman, toured the festival activities. They were joined by Sami Al Haddad, President of the Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BBFF), representatives of sports bodies and institutions in the Kingdom, and Alba's top officials.

Held in conjunction with Bahrain Sports Day, the festival reflects Alba's commitment to supporting youth and the sports sector. It reinforces the 'Sports for All' principle and fosters the Kingdom's youth's passion for an active lifestyle.

In collaboration with local associations and societies, the event also promoted inclusivity, welcoming People of Determination to participate and showcase their talents in competitions.
