Manama: Al Sater Markets has successfully employed and trained 87 Bahraini individuals through the support programmes offered by the Labour Fund "Tamkeen."
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative aligns with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, which aim to enhance the competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector. These priorities include equipping Bahrainis with the necessary skills for career development, focusing on enterprise growth, digitisation, sustainability, and supporting the labour market's ecosystem.
Over the years, Tamkeen has supported Al Sater Markets through various programmes, such as the National Employment Programme and the Wage Increment Support Programme. This assistance has enabled the company to keep up with its expansion plans within Bahrain, bolstering the Retail sector, which contributed 4.1% to the national GDP in the first quarter of this year.
