The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called on Friday imams affiliated with the Sadrist movement in all governorates to be brief in holding prayers as temperatures rise, out of fear for the worshipers.
Al-Sadr said in his comment on the X platform I pity the worshippers of high temperature, so my brothers of Friday imams must abide by a simple prayer and thank God and praise him the amount of duty in the sermons.
He added “There is no need to perform the Asr prayer in Jamaa after the Friday prayer.
