The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, informed the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HOR), Aqeela Saleh, of his adherence to constitutional appeal No. 7/50 and the ruling of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court that is subject to appeal.
This came in a letter sent by “Al-Mashri” yesterday to Aqeela regarding Parliament Decision No. 16/2023, which appoints members to the Constitutional Court.
At the end of the letter, Al-Mashri called for the need to work together in order to achieve the elections.
The HoR had voted in an official closed session on June 26, chaired by the second deputy speaker of the House, Misbah Doma, unanimously to choose the president and members of the Constitutional Court in accordance with Law No. 05 of 2023.
