Manama: Al Mabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has announced the launch of its Al Tamyoz scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 academic year under the Rayaat program, targeting gifted students seeking post-graduate opportunities in highly specialised domains. Candidates will be selected based on their exceptional merit in these niche areas, with the program aiming to contribute positively to the local community and labour market.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Foundation has offered over 494 scholarships across various academic disciplines, aligning with students' ambitions and competencies while addressing labour market demands and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2050. Graduates of the Foundation have demonstrated high performance levels, earned prestigious awards, and achieved notable success both locally and internationally.
Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Al Mabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation, affirmed the Foundation's commitment to supporting young talent by providing them with tools to develop their skills. The scholarship targets Bahraini youth with exceptional leadership potential and community involvement within their fields of study, supporting students pursuing master's or doctoral degrees in rare and high-impact specialisations.
A scholarship opportunity is planned to be awarded annually to candidates who have secured admission into a master's or doctoral program locally or abroad. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, excluding living expenses and travel costs. Applications for the April 2026 cycle are currently open to university students via the Foundation's official website.
