Al-Hakim Discusses With The British Ambassador Bilateral Relations And Economic Reform

The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the British ambassador in Baghdad, Mark Bryson, bilateral relations, economic reform, Iraq's position in the Arab, regional and international system, and the future of promising projects in Iraq, appreciating the role played by the ambassador during his presidency of his country's mission in Iraq.

Al-Hakim stressed: "Iraq is on the verge of a stage of permanent stability, if everyone assumes their responsibilities towards this transition," explaining: "The turbulence of the situation in Iraq has led to the turmoil of the conditions of the region and the world, so supporting Iraq and its stability helps to support the security and stability of the region and the world."

He explained: "The current government is serious about bringing about a service and development change," citing the government's economic steps, including approving the budget for three years and dedicating the government's effort to lagging projects and strategic projects.

Regionally, Al-Hakim said that the policy of moderation has become the best recipe for the issues of the region and the world. He also referred to the Iraqi role in converging the views of the parties in the region, indicating that Iraq does not stop at the Saudi-Iranian rapprochement, but rather goes beyond it to seek to eliminate the region's crises.
