Air Ambulance Tragedy Near Nairobi Claims Six Lives

Nairobi: An air ambulance operated by Amref Flying Doctors crashed into a residential area in Kiambu County, near the Kenyan capital Nairobi, on Thursday, resulting in the deaths of at least six people. The tragic incident included four crew members on board the aircraft and two individuals who were in a house struck by the plane.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Kiambu County Commissioner Henry Wafula confirmed that the aircraft involved was a mid-size Cessna Citation XLS. The plane had departed from Nairobi Airport and was en route to Somaliland when it crashed. The company, Amref Flying Doctors, has issued a statement expressing their commitment to cooperating with aviation authorities and rescue teams to investigate the cause of the crash, although no further details have been disclosed at this time.
