AGU Welcomes 13th MBA Cohort with ESSEC Business School

Manama: The Arabian Gulf University (AGU) welcomed 30 students from the GCC to its joint Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme with France's ESSEC Business School, including 21 from Kuwait, six from Bahrain, and three from Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the programme features tracks in public-private partnerships and facilities management, focusing on GCC development areas like infrastructure and energy. Emerging technologies, AI, and digital transformation are integrated into the curriculum, covering fintech and e-commerce.

Professor Waleed Khalil Al Zubari, AGU Dean, highlighted the strategic partnership with ESSEC in delivering world-class education to address regional business challenges. Professor Adel Ismail Al Alawi, MBA Programme Coordinator, emphasised the importance of applied skills in leadership and innovation.

Launched in collaboration with ESSEC, the programme has graduated over 300 students and focuses on the GCC's unique business environment. The 13th cohort will graduate in June 2026.
