The representative of Diyala Governorate, Salah Zini, said in a statement .. that / 5 / political blocs out of / 8 / blocs agreed to form a local government in Diyala. Therefore, we direct our message to the blocs opposing the formation of the provincial council and they must decide their matter and their choice and not be an obstacle to the process of forming the council and electing a governor for Diyala.
He added, in my capacity as a representative of my people in Diyala, I must take my supervisory role to follow up on the projects being implemented in the province because there are corrupt political blocs / he did not name them / benefiting from passing corrupt projects in the province, taking advantage of the absence of the head of the Diyala Council and its governor.
