Kuala Lumpur: Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and First Vice President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), received Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manaa, Bahraini Ambassador to Malaysia, at the AFC headquarters in Malaysia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim commended the ambassador's efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between Bahrain and Malaysia. He also praised the embassy's role in enhancing cooperation across various sectors.
On his part, Dr. Al Manaa expressed his appreciation to Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim and lauded his leadership in advancing the AFC's development and progress across all areas of the sport.
