Advanced Systems Serve Millions of Pilgrims at Grand Mosque

Mecca: During the holy month of Ramadhan, advanced systems have been implemented at the Grand Mosque to ensure that worshipers and Umrah performers can perform their rituals with comfort and tranquility. According to Bahrain News Agency, the systems include cooling and lighting units, a highly precise sound system throughout all facilities, and regular maintenance. The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques stated that the Grand Mosque operates one of the largest cooling systems in the world, with a capacity of 155,000 tons. Additionally, the Grand Mosque is equipped with 120,000 lighting units and a state-of-the-art sound system strategically distributed across the mosque's three expansions and courtyards.
