Manama: Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Acting Head of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the inaugural meeting of the Syria Partnership Coordination Forum.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was conducted remotely and saw the participation of representatives from the Syrian government, the European Commission, and numerous regional and international partners. This meeting was part of international efforts aimed at supporting Syria's recovery process. Participants exchanged views on how to strengthen cooperation with the Syrian Arab Republic and enhance the coordination of international efforts in the upcoming phases, in line with the guiding principles of the international community.
The forum also focused on joint working mechanisms and strategies to strengthen coordination among various partners, ensuring an effective response to developmental needs and promoting opportunities for sustainable recovery. It underscored the necessity of continued constructive dialogue and cooperation between Syria and its partners to foster stability and development in the region.
