A force from the 55th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces arrested, today, Sunday, a drug dealer in his possession ten thousand narcotic pills in Anbar.
The Popular Mobilization Authority stated in a statement, “The force set up an ambush, based on accurate intelligence information, in the Albu Nimr area, west of Anbar Province.”
It added, “The ambush resulted in the arrest of the merchant, who was in his possession 10,000 narcotic pills that he intended to distribute to addicts.”
It indicated that “the detainee was handed over to the Narcotics Department in Anbar for the purpose of presenting him to the judiciary and holding him accountable according to the law.”
