Dozens of people from Al-Shumali and Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi districts, south of Hilla, demonstrated today, Wednesday, in front of the Babylon Governorate building to demand water.
NINA correspondent said, “Dozens of people from the Khamisiyah and Al-Ghazali areas demonstrated in front of the Babylon Governorate Office to demand the provision of water to their areas, which suffer from an unprecedented water scarcity, which forced most of the residents to abandon their areas and the complete destruction of agricultural and animal wealth in the most important agricultural areas in the south of the Babylon governorate.
