Rudboneh: A 4.4-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck the city of Rudboneh in Gilan Province, northern Iran. The tremor was reported by the Seismological Centre of the University of Tehran.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 20 kilometres. The tremor was clearly felt by residents, which prompted many to leave buildings and head into the streets for safety.
As of now, there have been no reports of any material or human losses resulting from the earthquake. Authorities are likely to continue monitoring the situation for any developments.
