Kampti: 35 candidates registered for the academic excellence competition. The Basic Education District (CEB) of Lorop©ni began, on Monday May 4, 2026, the selection of the best students of the first year of middle school from among the 35 registered candidates.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initial phase of this competition took place at the Lorop©ni and Dip©o sites. The competition aims to select only five candidates who will advance to the provincial test, scheduled for May 8. This rigorous selection process is designed to identify and promote academic excellence among the participants.
Moussa Da, the supervisor of the Lorop©ni site, emphasized the importance of preparing the students for future challenges. He encouraged parents to engage the selected students in additional challenges to better prepare them for the subsequent stage of the selection process. Da expressed gratitude towards the coaches and parents for their continued support and dedication to the students' academic pursuits.
The selection phase was conducted under the guidance of educational coaches. It concluded with a communal meal, which was an opportunity for coaches and students to share experiences and foster a sense of community and support among the participants.
