Manama: The 32nd Al Bareh International Regatta kicked off at Bilaj Al Jazayer Beach, marking the commencement of an exciting event that will run until June 27. A total of 40 sailors from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates are participating in this prestigious maritime competition. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Maritime Sports Association, graced the opening ceremony with his presence and extended a warm welcome to the delegations. The inaugural day was characterized by the registration of participants, followed by a crucial technical meeting for coaches. During this meeting, discussions were held on the competition system, along with the technical and organizational regulations that will govern the races across the event's three categories.
