Dhaka: In the ongoing nationwide operation, 3264 more crime suspects were arrested in the last 48 hours.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the press release from the Police Headquarters stated that 2214 of the individuals were apprehended in connection with previous cases and pending warrants. Meanwhile, 1030 suspects faced arrest on various criminal charges.
During these operations, law enforcement officers seized a significant cache of weapons and ammunition. The items confiscated included one foreign-made pistol, one local pistol, one LG, two single-barrel guns, one shutter gun, two local pipe guns, six rounds of shotgun cartridges, four rounds of bullets, three magazines, three crude bombs, and four swords. The comprehensive crackdown reflects the authorities' commitment to curbing crime and maintaining public safety across the nation.
