Amara / NINA/ – Security forces in Maysan arrested 3 accused of terrorism during a security operation carried out in the city of Amara, the center of the governorate.
A statement by the Maysan Police Command received by the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / stated: “A joint force carried out a security operation during which it was able to arrest 3 accused of terrorism after they committed the crime of shooting at citizens’ homes, known as the “tribal attacks”.
The statement added: “The accused were referred to security detention centers to complete the rest of the necessary legal procedures against them in order to refer them to the judiciary.” / End
