Bejaia: A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Bejaia province in eastern Algeria, according to the Algerian Centre for Research in Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the epicentre was located one kilometre northeast of the coastal city of Aokas, which is situated approximately 250 kilometres east of the capital, Algiers.
Algeria's civil protection authorities reported that there were no casualties or material damage following the earthquake.
