The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the sisterly state of Libya, following the floods that struck the city of Derna, resulting in the death of a number of citizens and the injury of others.

It said in a statement: We express our solidarity with the government and people of the sisterly country of Libya, asking Almighty God for mercy for the victims, and a speedy recovery and safety for the injured.
