Two individuals who robbed a restaurant at gunpoint on Tuesday were arrested by police hours after they fled the scene in northern Amman.
The Public Security Directorate spokesperson said the robbers stole JD5,000 and left the scene in a getaway vehicle.
A team of investigators and police officers were prompt to identify the culprits, who were apprehended and some of the stolen money was seized along with a firearm and the vehicle, said the spokesman.
